Registration is open to runners ages 5-12 years old. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners, Race entries will be capped at 250.
Runners 13 and over may participate if accompanying a runner under the age of 13. However, the entry fee will be $15 instead of $10.
The start of the Reedy River Youth Mile is at 7:25 am on Saturday, April 22, 2017 for all age groups together. To enhance safety at the start, runners will be organized in corrals with older age groups in the front and younger age groups in the back. Children must line up with their age group. Parents, who also register for the youth mile, may run with their children. Parents not registered are invited to wait with them in the start corral until the race begins. Make plans to stay for the awards ceremony, scheduled to begin at 9:15 am.

START on S. Main, south of McBee Ave, near Joel Poinsett statue in historic Court Square Run north on N. Main St Turn left W. Washington St. Run west on W. Washington St. Turn left onto S. Richardson St Run south on S. Richardson St. (turns into River St.) Continue running Southeast on River St. Turn Left onto S. Main Street and run North FINISH on the Bridge over the Reedy River |
