With the postponement of the 43rd Reedy River Run, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to September 6, 2021 there have been some major changes. First, we have revised our 10K course to Start and Finish on the S. Main Street Bridge over the Reedy River. The course will still run through many sections of downtown GVL and most of Cleveland Park and Falls Park, while crossing the Reedy River seven times. Due to the uncertainty of how large gatherings will be permitted, our current plan is to limit the 10K to 1,000 participants. The 10K will have multiple starting waves, with Social/Physical distancing protocols, spreading the flow of runners. Starting wave assignments will be seeded by Estimated Finish Times with the faster times starting first. The theoretical objective is to have as few runners as possible pass those who started in front of them. Starting Waves will be assigned the first week in August.
