Athletes who are interested in being considered for Elite Athlete status should complete and submit the application below. Elite athlete applicants are required to list both their career personal records and best 10K since Jan 1, 2020, along with supporting documentation that they can qualify to run within the elite time standards established by the United Community Bank Reedy River Run. Prize money is open to US Citizens with USATF numbers only and athletes with remaining high school eligibility will not receive prize money. See the Awards and Cash Prizes at "Awards" page. Time Standards to be considered for Elite Status for GTC Reedy River Run 10K: Open Males: 31:30 Open Females: 36:30 Other distance equivalents may be considered (Males: 5K < 15:00 HM < 1:10:00; Females: 5K < 17:30, HM < 1:21:00), but do not guarantee elite entry
Athletes who have been suspended for doping by a governing body, or are currently associated with a coach or agent with a history of athletes using Performance Enhancing Drugs are not eligible to participate in and should not apply for entry in the United Community Bank Reedy River Run.
