The United Community Bank Reedy River Run is proud to present the artwork for our 10K Age Group award winners. The 44th edition of this iconic Greenville event will feature the Cancer Survivor's Park on the 10K finishers' medals and with artwork prints of the Park, which the course passes through on its route from Cleveland to Falls parks. Renown South Carolina artist Addison Palmer painted the rendition of the unique structure of the Cancer Survivors Park along the banks of the Reedy River.. The top three placers in each Age Group in the 10K will receive a matted print. Our 2021 Age Group placers (top three) received the artist's rendering of the Joel Poinsett statue in downtown's Court Square. Age Group Awards will be offered to the top three men and women in the 10K as follows:
The 44th running of this event will be on Saturday, April 23, 2022 with the start and finish on Greenville's Main Street.
Our 10K Finisher medals have arrived and we are excited to show them off. Each year our 10K Finisher medal highlights an important, historic or iconic landmark in Greenville. Our 2022 medal highlights GVL's Cancer Survivor's Park. Our 10K course follows the Reedy River through Cleveland Park and into the CSP before running through Falls Park on the way to the finish on the S. Main Street Bridge. The back of the medal celebrates the Greenville Track Club's 50th Anniversary.
